Robotica is a really stupid rip off of Battle bots. I watched it for awhile and it totally sucked I saw no actual robot combat which totally sucks.

I saw it today... it was crap. Almost makes me wish they moved Junkyard Wars to A&E or something... Then again, you can't knock TLC because they air cool stuff about sex...

there are several things wrong with Robitica.

1.) the host. taht bald guy is such a fucking idiot. he doesnt need to throw in random words of nonsense and hand jestures. its just doesnt work.
2.) the design of the robots. they suck. they cant get over those lame ass obsticles. theres no inovation. except for the one with the flame thrower (saw it in a preview).
3.) the course events. theyre just lame! i mean, common, racing?! the least then could do is take out those oval shapes and let the bots fight in that. not the little 8 foot by 8 foot box thing. thats ridiculos. the
4.) the host. i hate ahmed zappa. i just just dont like him

blah. Robotica is just like the XFL. a lot of people will watch it the first time, but not a lot the second time.

Is that Ahmed Zappa? Or, am I crazy. I guess that doesn't have to be mutually exclusive.

Have you guys seen the British version of "Robot Wars"? It's presented by Craig Charles (From "Red Dwarf"), and has featured some cool and innovative robots, as well as one *really* mean robot axe...

(Series 1 & 2 had a robot called Mortus with the most kick-ass blade on it...)

Anyway, it rocked..

DAMNit I don't get CC and i like really wanted to see this stupid robotica but they only show it on wed 9-11pm and 1-2 am pst and me being the lam0r that i am fell asleep 20 mins before it started (i am sick) but hell i still want to see it even if you guys all say it sux what do you know.

If i was in it I would make a robot with 2 12 gauges mounted on it.
