Any of you guys have had dreams that just seared itself into your mind for the day?

Ones that made you go "wtf?" when you woke up, and pretty much determined your mood for the day?

That happens to me all the time! What I really hate is when I have a bad dream and that sticks with me all day... The only ones I don't mind sticking around is the ones where I have sex with this hot guy that I'm crushing on.

i think the only time i've ever had a dream make me go "wtf" is when i had one that i couldn't sleep, so i woke up (?) in the morning thinking "have i slept? haven't i?" and got really confused.

Most of the time if i 'ave a dream, i wake up, try to figure out a: what day it is and b: should i go back to bed and normally forget it.

:P

I live out some of the best and worst moments of my life in dreams. I've had numerous "wtf?" dreams. Most of my dreams are unbelievably realistic while I'm having them, but when I wake up there's something about them thats just plain wrong, or not logical. A lot of dreams I'll remember when I wake up but during the first few minutes of the day they'll disappear, try as I might to remember them. The ones I do remember usually stick with me all day and determine how I feel.

Thank god I've never had dreams about having sex with hot guys *shudders*, but I've had a few dreams about girls I've had crushes on, only usually it winds up not working out in the dreams. Which seems to be echoed IRL for some ungodly reason . Oh well, one can always dream...wait thats not such a good thing.

The dreams I really hate are the active ones that I can remember every detail of, because its like I never slept, and I'm always expecting things that happened in the dream to actually have happened in real life, but usually they dont.

Except recently, I've started to have dreams that come true like a day or three later, it occurs so often that I feel in an almost perpetual state of deja vu. It's really annoying, but also really strange. I'm hoping tonight I dream about me and some nice girl getting together and staying together for a while

Yea, today was a very bad day for me.

I dreamt that I was traveling by plane to some city ... I think it was Kyiv or something, but at the stop before the final destination, I changed my mind and wanted to go back where I started.

I bought a phone card and tried to call my ex (I had his face in my mind but I punched in a good friend's number) but nobody was there.

Then I bought tickets to go back, but the dates on it were wrong ... instead of today's date it was 9/5 or something around that ballpark. I complained to the lady and she said that the next flight doesn't leave til much later. However, I needed to leave right there and then.

Then I woke up. Foul mood. Missing my ex a lot. Raining outside. Then I find out that he married the chick who seduced him and ditched her bf in the process. She dumped her bf 1 month after she and her mom convinced mine to leave me. They were engaged within 1 year of all that.

I think that I'm sick of being a nice person.
Sigh.

This morning my alarm went off, and then I dreamt that I woke up and turned it off, and it still wouldn't shut off after I hit all the buttons and moved the little switch on the side as I usually do. Then I woke up and turned it off, it freaked me out. The dream seemed pretty damn real...cept for the alarm not going off part.

this really isn't a dream, but i found it disturbing, due to the circumstances of the nation.

just this past week, i was sleeping and suddenly, i woke up. my cat jumped off my bed and hurried out of the room. i craned my neck and looked at the clock. emtpy. no numbers, nothing blinking.

i got up and the blood drained from my head too fast and i got dizzy. i stumbled into the bedroom across the hall and saw that the clocks looked the same as mine. the sky was dark and cloudy. i was thinking to myself, 'wtf? did the war start already? was the power supply knocked out from bombing?'

so i go outside and everything's normal. i sit in the car and listen to the radio. no word about missiles, bombs, or anything. i decided not to worry about anything and went back inside.

of course, now everything was blinking. damn confusing panic.

yeah, every single dream i have about a girl, nothing happens. i'm always like hey, and then i go screw around on my computer. WTF? the ones that are really close to reality suck... i'm serious here, i've woken up a few times thinking my computer was gone, or even worse, i had a mac. that one i was about screaming when i woke up. i guess thats just my version of a nightmare, heh. and yeah, often times you wake up and find a logical flaw in the reality that made so much sense while you were asleep... now i just need to learn how to exploit that i also hate it when you know you're going to wake up and then you do. its like you're halfway between dream land and being awake, sometimes i can even hear. oh well.

The weird ones are the fights where the guy just won't go down. He'll take a punch or a bullet and grunt, maybe stagger but still keep coming.
Guns too. Anyone have them where the damn thing just won't fire or the trigger pull is insanely dificult. You're trying to cover people while they're moving to safety and you can't shoot to do so.

Please, no psychoanalysis concerning lack of self confidence or anything like that. My day is bad enough.

I get that one all the time.

most of the time i have really good dreams.
but then i wake up, and i've totally forgotten about what the dream was about, but i know it was a good one.

the only i dream i remember was one i had when i was a little kid.
i dreamt that i was riding my tricycle thingo down the hill, and i fell into this huge drain pipe and it sucked me down it.
i was terrified hehehe, but i was only 4 or 5.

I had a weird dream this morning. About a guy I know, and who's quite hot and all... well, I woke up pretty confused, but knew it was a dream because there'd been some unrealistic aspects to it.

However, this afternoon my friend tells me that he got a girlfriend a week ago or so. I was so baffled I almost sat down straight on the spot... Life. Sucks. And. Never. Ceases. To. Surprise. Me.

StanVanDam, I had almost the exact same dream not too long ago, except I took my alarm apart. When I woke up the real thing was going off. Gotta love your sub-consous (I cant spell)

I havent had too many wtf? feeling days after dreams, but I have had a few where I felt like I needed to change my life. It was kind of like the person I wanted to be just has everything, and I wish I could be them. I dont really know how to describe the feeling in words, just that it was cool, but kind of depressing

i once had the weirdest frickin dream ever. i am a ww2 nut and i play ww2 games, etc. well, one night i dreamt that i was taking part in the dday invasion, june 6, 1944. It was like saving private ryan in my mind. i was in the higgins boat, the ramp came down and i stormed out onto the beach. i got shot a few times, and i was shaking and yelling during this dream. it was so realistic. i woke up in the middle of the night and i felt like it really happened. i was puking all over the place, i had a cold sweat and everything. it was weird as fuck. well, thought i'd share mine with everyone. analyze the dream.. i'm crazy right?

What I usually have is a dream where I have my gun, but I also have a handful of bullets. The bullets don't match, they're all different calibers, some of them are just the bullet with no casing. I try to put the bullets together and find the 9mm ones, but usually end up with one bullet that I can't load into the gun correctly... etc. It's frustrating to almost have the power.

A lot of my dreams seem so realistic, that when I come to doing something really crazy that I wouldn't do in reality I stop, because I beleive I'm awake. Damn, I just realized I could be asleep right now.
