The exe files in the root folder should be free to download. My administrator program crashed funny and I can't see or do shit, so I hope I edited the ini file properly.

not too shabby, but not as good as when I got cs beta5 at 520kb/sec from a guy that worked at uunet HQ, hee hee.

the voice test thing works ok i guess. i could hear myself and all, but in the game, i dont think anyone could hear me.

1) Dust is UGLY...
2) Colt = new weapon to whore
3) VALVe strikes again: ATI cards have to run in D3D which is painful.
4) New scoreboard is too 'ew'

5) The One Good Thing: faster load times; well, for me anyway.

lots of headshots, overall i think you die faster. i love the voice shit, lots of fun and much better than typing, if you would ever configure it right it wouldn't be muffled, and for those that can't get it running go into the hl dir and click on the voice.exe (its something close to that) and configure if untill your happy and loud

i like everything about it except the ati issue. really pisses me of that i have to run fuckin d3d, it lags me, makes everything ugly.

maybe one day soon we can get the clan back together, i still use my [DetNet] tag, maybe you bastards should too.

I put a little time into 1.3. It's pretty kick butt. The Scout seems to be pretty much worthless. I whored it up with the AWP. The voice communication thing is akward... i don't know if I got it working or not.

All in all, seems to be slightly nicer though. I'd like to see a change list.

I think it's much better now, everything just "feels" faster and fresher. The voice thing is awesome.

CS just totally sucks when you have no real challengers.

And I just don't get the same satisfaction when I realize I'm better than someone who used to totally own me a few days ago..

They seem to be progressively making the guns less accurate. I know that if I were ducked down holding a handgun, I could put a hole withing a foot of where I aim at at 20 yards. Instead, I aim at people's bodies, and hit nothing but air.

Also, yesterday I was one of those guys who should have been blown away at short range, but didn't take a scratch. I felt guilty.

Increase the accuracy of the weapons again! I'm sick of random luck ruling.

Suprised you remember them all. Quit the streets cause I had no dev team and didnt like how it was going and some other similiar mod came out.

Began vietnam, once again, had no dev team. I also had already started to dislike the game of halflife and cs. once i quit CS, i quit HL alltogether.

and to think i spent ฤ on a pair of headphones with a mic on it. son of a BITCH!

but Torn and Survivor are cool. Storm=not so great

At the risk of sounding lame...

I have a win2k box. (pro)
CS full retail (Latest VER)

My 2k box is plugged into a Linksys, Model#: BEFSR41 Firmware Version: 1.39, Jun 04 2001

Witch has the firewall software running. I'm set as the DMZ host. Ports 6000-8000 & 17000-18000 are forwarded to me.

The router is plugged into a "Effeciant Networks, Speed Stream" DSL box SpeedStream 5871 IDSL Router (120-5871-001/2) Efficient-5000 BOOT/POST V5.9.3 Software version v4.0.1

All ports (UDP & TCP) are forwarded to my router (linksys).

My problem...
"unable to get list of servers"
or if I do get a list, I get "23000(ish) servers 0 players"

Any help?
suggestions?

Hey, for you guys who don't like the inaccurate and unrealistically weak weapons in CS, you should try TrueCombat (Quake 3 mod, < www.truecombat.com). >

TC has a very nice aiming system- no accuracy while running, but dead-on accurate if you're crouched and in "tactical mode." (you can truly snipe with the AK-47 if you are careful - it's not just luck-sniping like CS). The guns feel 2x-3x more powerful than CS. 1-shot kills are fairly routine with the bigger guns, even if not a headshot.

Ok. FACT: its a UDP problem
GUESS: port 4000-8000 should be forwarded... if you can, log packets.. see what port it is.. I think there is 1 udp port that is needed to be open in the 4000's for you to list

just saw a major CS glitch on de_dust2. ct's can "skywalk" if they so desire. i am not going to post any details on how it's done, since so far this seems to be pretty contained, only saw in on one server, but i am sure in a few weeks dust2 will become unplayable.
