Alright... you only get to pick 1 CD! ONLY ONE! Band and album please! Compilations, soundtracks, "best of"s, and double-albums are acceptable.

Hmmm... I just flipped though... it's a tough choice, but I'm going with...

My Def Jam 10th Anniversary collection. It may be cheating since it's 4 CDs... but it's god damn cool.

Or, if that's out, Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction

Wait, duh.

Sarah McLachlan - Mirrorball

CDs. I haven't bought one in months. I don't buy them anymore? Why? Because music today sucks. Maybe if a band put out more than one decent song on a cd that costs me ฟ, I'd buy the damn thing, but it is usually crap. I'd say, my favorite album and band to date (thanks napster), is Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory.

Not to be insulting, but Linkin park sucks ass. Godsmack is good live (saw 'em at ozzfest), but i dont care for their albums. My favorite artist is Ozzy Osbourne, but my favorite single album of all time is: (Drumroll)...

And another thing, </rant> ICP is one of the worst band to ever walk the face of the earth, along with all that rapcore shit that's goin around these days. The only decent new band in 2000 was Disturbed. Kittie was also pretty good. And one more thing, LIMP BIZKIT SUCKS! THEY ARE NOT METAL! THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN METAL! THEY WILL NEVER BE METAL! THEY ARE RAP! AND THEY ARE SHIT! </rant> This has been an important message from

SaxMaster:
Um... I don't like your musical tastes... That's about the extent of it.

I saw ICP in concert in Milwaukee last spring and they kicked ass. They sprayed about 500 2-liter bottles of Faygo all over the audience. More than anything, I just laughed at that, but it was pretty cool until they started drop kicking the bottles and they were hitting the lighting arrays.

As long as you don't take them seriously, ICP is a fun band to listen to. Eminem falls under the same situation. They're not going to kill or corupt you... you may not like the subject matter, but they have a decent beat and absolutely have some musical talent.

So, in addition to my waffling earlier, an ICP album wouldn't be bad. Also, the Slim Shady LP is pretty damn awesome.

Ministry - The Mind Is A Terrrible Thing To Taste

great samples, great beats, great variety. the guitar riffs are fairly simple, but who gives a fuck 'cauz they are so damn catchy

and hooverphonic - a new stereophonic sound sensation is a close second

<rant>umm... yeah, fuck you SaxMaster... Maybe you don't know this, but ICP does suck. They admit they suck. I'm aware they're the most hated band in the world (you just proved me more correct) and i love that. Um yeah, and thanx for the back or something askheaves . See, I'm aware not many people like the ICP's style, but that don't change a fucking thing. Cuz ICP's not for everyone. I think you're just one of those "anti-rap rock fans" or something. I don't like bizkit either, but then again that don't mean a damned thing. Oh yeah, and since you're all "the only band to come around in 2000 that was good", I'm guessing you mean ICP's new... uh, go find Carnival of Carnage. 1993 for the rerelease, 1991 if you can find and orginal (doubt that, it's rare as you're changes of growing a open mind...). ICP ain't new. Shit, Inteligence & Violence was fucking 1989, but then again that wasn't really ICP as Insane Clown Posse... I dunno, I'm not gonna fight you over it or anything cuz I'm seeing you as one of those close minded "if it's not hard rock it's shit!" people...</rant>

<PS style=rant>So yeah, no one seems to like you either from reading the posts, cuz you're blantly an unmotivated child with a nose bleed... I'm finished with you, bring on the next lamer please.</rant>

*CUZ I'M A JUGGALO AND THAT'S FOR LIFE, YO!*

<rant> point a: where the fuck do you get off telling people that their music sucks saxmaster? you have no right whatsoever to force your opinions on other people. i personally dont like icp all that much, but i dont go around making an ass of myself over it. i, like other intelligent people, save that for other things. (like when i smoke crack and try to give people advice that matches up to personguy's) point b: what the hell kind of a name is saxmaster?!?!?@#???? that is nearly the dumbest thing i have ever heard. i am ashamed to even be from an area remotely near to where you call home. you should seriously consider reapplying for membership at a site where people are allowed and encouraged to be complete dumbasses </rant>
btw, my favorite cd of the more punky genre would have to be mxpx, at the show; for everything else i love live, throwing copper, and fuel, sunburn. i have, however, broken the rules by listing more than one album, so i will just sit down now.

A good oxymoron: Rap Music

The reason no one lists favourites for Metallica is because all their cd's rock and all have awesome songs You just can't lose with any of their albums.

It's a total draw between anything by TOOL or anything by GODSMACK.

If I had to only choose 1 CD, it'd be the one I burned containg both TOOL and GODSMACK so :P

glad to know that ppl are still listening to their stuff

as for other groups...santana? pink floyd? respectable stuff, but if i listen to more than one song from either of these guys at a time, i have the sudden need to bang my head against a wall. repeatedly. *thud* *thud* *thud*

funny how noone mentioned led zepplin. kinda reminds me of that MSI song: "i hate jimmy page! nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, get those faggots off the stage!"
