edit - oh yeah, I'm a independent (all though I can't vote). I figure because no matter who's in office the laws are gonna be same, and I have no choice in the matter, I just say I'd vote for who ever I think would either fuck up the best (clinton). Odd I didn't like Bush...

The way I see it:
Anarchism isn't what I believe in. That has to do with the idea of government being bad. That's where it mainly stops. For a nihilist, that's just the pretext (after effect?) to a larger picture. Political nihilism strikes at the very base of what we are as a culture, not just our politics. It heads straight for our morals.
In a nihilistic world, what your role is, what politics are, won't matter. All that matters is what you can contribute. The parasites would be weeded out.

Right. In theory, communism works. In theory. How do you propse to get rid of the people that don't do anything? SHoot them? That's a lot of bullets. The only reason 90\% of this country does anything is because they have to work to live. It just so happens that everyone helps out everyone else. The garbage men pick up your trash. The people at the bank hold your money which allows other people to buy and make things. It's actually a very well run system. There's shit tons of beuracracy, but it does work. You want to go back to hunting and gathering? Without government, we fall back 10,000 years. When you start finding a place for all your trash without taking it to the dumb, let me know. People don't know enough to be totally self sufficient anymore. I bet serious amounts of money that you can't run a farm. Commuism, anarchy, nihilism. It all works in theory, but in practice, it just comes down to the fact that no one wants to do more then their share for them. If you don't get anything out of it, why the fuck should you clean that dudes sewer?

A liberarian believes that the extent of a government's power is to provide what people are unable or unwilling to provide.
That's a great concept to me. The government is there to provide public goods (like roads, sewers, police, army). After that, it supports the rights of the people.
