I have come to this realization over my time on this planet. Certain people, as individuals, are okay, but people as a whole truly suck. They are stupid, sheep-like, lack any sort of common sense, mean, boorish, selfish, superstitious, racist, sexist, useless, annoying, irritating, aggrivating, and redundant.
I meet this Truth when I drive to and from work, when I speak with people at work, and when I interact with people at a store. There are a plethora of these people crafting TV and radio ads, programs, and movies. I find them at the grocery store, on technical troubleshooting lines, and at gas stations. They run our governments, they build our roads, and they send us our newspapers. They are yelling at us on the radio, and they yell at each other on TV, and we watch it. They kill each other over triflings, and then expect to get away with it.
I include myself in this, and therefore hate myself. I love my wife and son to distraction, but sometimes I hate them, too. It sounds horrible, but it's true and I admit it. I like some of you, but that's just because I see what you want me to see, and if I actually spent some time with you, you would annoy me, just like everyone else. Even Nikita. 
This rant didn't really have any point besides blowing off steam. So, I'm done, but I still hate people. Do you share my feelings? Discuss.

um, isn't that "preaching to the chior"?
Anyway, i used to hate people too. I won't bore you with the dime-a-dozzen tale of dissilusioned idealist/child-prodigy-gone-wrong.....
Eventually, after watching a whole lot of "The Learning Channel" (god bless satalite TV), i realized that its not really people i hate.
I hate society. Society is 3 or more people in the same room, imho.
Think about it. It a proven fact that people act stupider in a group, and the larger the group, the stupider they act.
If the love of money is the root of all evil, stupidity is the root of all that pisses me off.
EDIT: someone once said brevity is the soul of all wit.... (Ben Franklin maybe?) I don't believe it. I say brevity is for lazy bastards like me who like literary/linguistic shortcuts. =p

Totally, all hail Jynx. I have discussed this with my peers many times only I found it's more a case of people in large groups annoy me, giggly young girls annoy me and people who are stupid and use it as an excuse to get out of things.
A girl I used to know was the exact of all these things, if someone wanted her to do anything remotly challenging her reply would be I can't do that i'm thick... Guarunteed.
On the other hand I can respect 'thick' people who do make an effort, because I understand and sympathise that it must be twice as hard for them to accomplish something that others may find simple but they still give it there all.
On average I find persons as singular beings barable, so long as they aren't just plain really annoying. But if you get a group of people you instantly get a leader whether it is intentional or not, you get one trying to be a hero who inevitably shoots his/her mouth off.
In conclusion I understand what you are saying but I find persons to be more inteligent than people. Where on earth did the phraze lets put our heads together come from... No lets each go off and do our own thing and there will be no arguments and the job will get done.
EDIT: sorry to step on your feet there black flag, I was writing this as you posted. You basically said the same as me only your inteligence is far superior and you got it down to a few words as opposed to my essay.

I love stupid people ..especially groups of them. In front of them I look like a freaking genius ..then they pay me for my thoughts.
I'd hate a world where I was on the losing end of the IQ distribution.

Ever get the feeling that your peers need to grow up a few more years just to be tolerable? Be it how they carry themselves, how they treat others, how goddamn narrowminded they are?
When I was a kid I always felt more comfortable conversing w/ adults. I thought grad school would be a bit better, but I guess I was wrong. There's always going to be that funky stratification one way or the other ...
At least you're not at the bottom of the totem pole 
so milk it! ahaha ... ahaha ... ahahahahahah *ahem* ... yea ...

I fucking hate having a high IQ. Its like living on the planet of the motherfucking apes.
Compared to me (and i say this not to toot my own horn), your average Joe 6-pack is about as smart as Forrest Gump isn't.
Screw genius. I'd give it up for happieness any day. (and sometimes do one bong hit at a time.)

Out of curiosity Blag flag, what is your IQ, I hit a fair but nice 130.
Nikita I am totally with you on that one, I find that as I am at the same stage of life as my peers I can learn nothing new from them because they are all learning the same things.
I find it pays off much more to talk to somebody of a few years experience, the most in depth usefull converstaions are with a 29 year old guy called Andy. I have learnt so much from him in just two years you wouldn't believe.
I am a glutten for learning about life, and the choices people made and stuff, it all just facinates me. I'm addicted to learning.
granted I have my moments of childishness as i'm sure do most (under the influence of alcohol for example) but at the end of the day, i'm happy in my ways and i'll go on with them.

This may sound a bit boorish, but you've just got to shut down everything that you don't care about at the time. When you just, well, stop caring about what all those ignorant fucks are doing, it's not such a big deal when they do screw up yet again. It's an art form
