yeah, but usually only with the same 2 or 3 people who seem to have this 'i hate you but i have to follow you around because i wanna be able to quote you later' fetish....

in that case it's either an ego boost or annoying, and almost never harmful.

then, a little less often, i run across a true psycho who has the 'i love you therefore i must spend every waking moment following you around and making your life hell.. by the way did i mention i'm an insomniac too' thing going on. it makes me glad i live in a state that allows concealed carry and has anti-stalking laws.
