Alright... my monitor almost blew up the other day. yes, blew up. The power unit was sparking and shit, and my dad, in his "I know everything, bow before me!" mood, determines its "just a blown switch". He said this weekend we'd take it somewhere to get it fixed. Yesterday his drunk ass was to lazy to take it anywhere, and today he says "most all places are closed that could fix it". I don't want it fucking fixed, i want a new monitor. It's bad enough the thing is a no name brand, and it's probably giving me radiation poisoning (although the green glow is quite nice), no place can fix the damned thing. I want a new fucking monitor, which costs about 150 bucks. I'm figuring, to fix the original, it's probably going to run my dad 200. This is the kind of idiot my father is.
If that's not enough, the monitor I'm using is my parents old Packerd Bell monitor... fucking Crack Jack prize computer. It's like 5 years old and I have to stay in console mode on my linux computer, and windows can only go up to 800x600 (and it still displays funny). If that's not enough, I bought a copy of Quake 3 Arena from a friend, and for some reason OpenGL won't work even though I'm damned sure my Voodoo3 2000 has used it in the past... Then my linux box is fucked up so it will connect to my windows box, but won't let the windows box connect to anything else (which means i can't go download a new version of opengl)... what's really fucked up is, shit like this happens to me atleast twice a month.
Oh... I got my hair cut yesterday... the idiot lady cut an inch off, so now I got to wait another month to let it grow back out before i can get my hair done how I want it. I don't really blame the lady all that much, because I should have told her I didn't want any cut off the top, plus she's kinna hot and I can't really hate her...------------------ Net Syndrome - http://netsyndrome.net/ Spydir Web - http://netsyndrome.net/spydirweb/

Yea.. that shit sucks though. I mean inconveniances and shit. The good thing is you should only complain about it when you don't make the same stupid mistakes (common, related, etc.), and when you do, you'll enjoy hating it more. Because you didn't do anything wrong and they did. Honestly, theres some dark joy in hate. It's nice when you know you're not at fault.
