Sachets. They suck. Why must all restaurants feel the need to provide all the little sachets of everything.. It was bad enough with sachets of salt, and that horrible way that once you applied the small amount of salt you actually wanted the only available option is to put down the sachet, whereupon the table will become covered in those little white granules..
But vinegar? That's taking the piss. Sachets should not be used on anything that runny. I defy anyone to be able to open a sachet of vinegar without covering an impressive radius of the table and soaking assorted packaging.
vinegar is a strong taste, you apply it lightly, but with a sachet it's nigh on impossible to end up with anything other than one f*** strong vinegared chip and a pile of unaffected candidates.
If you actually manage not to put the entire sachet on one damn pea you may wish to not use the entire thing. Then what are you supposed to do? The only thing you can do from then on to avoid creating a mess is to drink the remainder and spend the next hour coughing.
Sachets of vinegar are a terrible idea.
Case for the prosecution rests.
