A long while back, a friend and I were contemplating getting a small barcode tattoo at the base of our necks ... but decided against it ... would have been cool though, and I probably would have gotten kicked outta church ... woulda spared me the excuses to skip

If you got a tattoo like that, what would you like to be scanned as?

HAHAHA some people are so fucking ignorant. I can find 666 in almost any number I want to at any time. In fact, it occurs in pi, I think several times. Thus every circle contains the mark of the beast hidden in it in some sly fashion!! everyone who has an eyeball has a circular organ (or two) below their forhead, thus has the mark of the beast! haha. I have no less than 27 files on my harddrive that are 666 bytes (I have a large directory of text files and htm files.) My computer is infected with the mark of the beast! I bet you you can count 666 characters on the Windows test print page on some computers. .999 fine silver has an upside-down 666 hidden in it!!!!

Some guy 1930 years ago wrote down a "revelation" he had from "god" and everyone has been trying to make it fit their theories about how the world is going to end and what the signs are, and so far everyone is wrong. If they read in a different book in the new testament, they will see this "No man knows the hour." That pretty much seals the matter as far as that goes. Nobody knows if and when the world is going to end, and its stupid to look for all kinds of signs in everything, rather live your life as you know in your heart is right. All this worrying about 666 and satan is pointless unless you like getting ulcers. /rant.

I believe in God but I hate religion/religiosity and what it has done to people throughout history: it has been the cause of many wars, pitting people against each other over the dumbest things, it has burdened people with loads of guilt and condemnation, had them live out of fear of religious leaders/God/Hell rather than out of love for their fellow humans. And every one is convinced that theirs is the only true one, and they force it on their kids and all. I hate that. I'm sure thats not what God ever intended people to do. Or maybe he did, so that we would realize how screwed up it is and stop. I don't know and I don't care, but its wrong.

The "bible" is not the begin all end all of anything, and is at times interesting and boring, but like any other collection of writings, based on how Human beings perceived their world.
