I had to run a simple report in Access tonight at work, I figured heck it will be point and click. WAS I EVER WRONG!!! I had to do like 10 different steps that I could have done in like one line of program code.. geez is it me or is all M$ Products racking up on the gayness factor anymore..

Yeah.. I REALLY hate Access and VB..

These 2 sucks so bad..

I'm forced to use that in my classes.. and everytime I want to throw the computer outside!

Damn I miss Apple Interface Builder when I'm working on that!

Amen...I had a database class last spring and I had to use MS Access. So I asked the prof,

Me: "Hey, I know SQL and PHP and have access to a web server with MySQL on it. Can I just develop my project in that instead?

Prof: "No, everyone needs to have equal access"

Me: "I can set them all up with accounts, ftp, and shell access"

Prof: "No"

Me: "Why?"

Prof: "No"

You can see where this went...me making a shitty database in Access that didn't work and I didn't learn anything...yeah public universities!!

I agree... I would rather run MySQL but Access is already there and I wasn't in the mood to redo everything.. ohh well... win some lose alot more..

As much as a Microsoft whore as I am, I wholy agree that Access is a hunk of dog shit. I don't even want to get into the massive list of problems with it. SQL Server 2000 Enterprise 0wnz J00!
