I just spend a whole weekend building a fanbus for my computer, just to have it go up in smoke when I turned my computer on! I just wanted to come on and rant about my failure. Nothing more to see here, move along...

It lets me control the voltage going to individual fans in my computer so that I can control the noise level in my room.

if you have lots and/or big fans, they can get pretty loud, if you stay with the stock fans, you dont have anything to worry about.
