PC Magazine and Ziff-Davis publications in general are the IT industry's come-guzzling queens.Get this : in the Dec. 5 issue, they recommend a system based on the Intel 820 Chipset with High Speed RDRAM memory for power users who want a high end system.
The 815 chipset is for "corporate" and "entry-level" systems.
WHAT??????? Every benchmark I've seen shows both the 815 and 440BX kicking the 820's ass up and down the street.
Their Pentium 4 review showed the P4 kicking the PIII's ass. That's strange, because EVERY OTHER review I've seen shows it the other way around. Why do I think they only picked the benchmarks that showed the P4 in a good light?
It seems that Ziff-Davis has Intel's dick down its throat...
