You've just got Smart Person complex. That's what happens when you realize that you're brighter than 99\% of the population, but you haven't yet figured out that almost everyone is in some way.
A janitor, for example, knows far more about cleaning things than you do. But you know more about physics.
'course, there might be some things you know about cleaning that he doesn't. If he likes to read about in science in his spare time, there might be a couple things he knows about physics that you don't.
If you keep this in mind, you might see why flaming people ain't always a good idea... if you want to learn stuff, you have to make people feel comfortable enough to mention things to you that might be wrong/stupid/etc. so that you can catch the interesting tidbits. It also makes people take your ideas more seriously, you stupid loser
