One of the oddest things i've ever experienced was when i got up, took my shower, etc...went to McDonald's for breakfast. Then i noticed it was 5:00 pm. They weren't serving breakfast. And then it started getting dark outside and i just woke up! <freaks>

I hate timeshifts! They are so damn unpractical, I mean, they don't only give you jetlags when you travel, but they also complicate internet life quite a lot. Most detnet posts are made while I am asleep - I feel left out. Not mentioning the difficulties of ICQ and IRC talking here...
Does anyone have a clue how to deal with that problem?

It's all a matter of priorities. If it's less important to you to deal with your own local time (shops being open, etc.), then go for it. (That's not meant as an insult.)
