I need a good file sharing client that has a good base of people so I can actually find files I want. I've used Kazaa a bit but I dont like the spyware. Anyone know any good ones?

there are multiple ways to get rid of spyware in kazaa, if not you can use Kazaa Lite.
There's Edonkey2000, WinMX(preferably beta 3), FileTopia, DC (or a clone DC++) and a few others. There are also many with spyware that u can easily remove.

morpheus is the equivalent of kazzaa wihtout any spyware as it uses the same network as it i think. (well i've always been able to find everythign on morpheus that icould on kazza) and now it also runs on the gnutella networks as well. just ignore the fucking appauling gui that they've put in in the latest version.

I removed the spy ware from kazaa but then it would not let me run the program.

you can remove everything but the cydoor spyware. it may be possible to block that with a firewall. i wasn't sure if tiny got it when i was running it. hard to tell which ports it uses.

there is a replacement dll for cydoor that kazaa needs to run. it even comes with a c++ source code that u can check to make sure it's totalle harmless. it acts as a cydoor dll for programs like kazaa to use it, but no information is sent. and kazaa will also be bannerless when you use this file.
