Hey howsit goin?

Just wonderin if anyone can help me, i got a problem with my geforce2 mx. My motherboard isn't giving the geforce2 enough voltage, the motherboard is giving it something like 3.1v and the geforce needs 3.3v. Is there anyway i can get around this (not buying any new computer parts)?

i believe there is a setting in your bios that lets you change your agp card voltage. don't confuse this with the cpu voltage though. someone else on here probably knows exactly which menu it's under.

heh.. fast reply
well my bios tells me the agp voltage, its in one of the menus, but i can't seem to find any setting that actually changes the voltage. I don't really want to have to go buy a new mobo just to use my geforce. Any programs that can alter the voltage settings? I've tried to find a flash for my bios but was unsuccessful.

Try changing the I/O valtage if you can in your BIOS. If you can't change it there, reflash the BIOS and then look again.
It's a good idea to reflash anyways.

Better yet, tell us what motherboard you have

thanx
my motherboard is apparantly a TMC one, http://www.mycomp-tmc.com , but i can't find the flash at all on their site. I've even emailed them to ask but they said they couldn't identify it. The model is MI6NEA, well thats what it says in the manual. And nope, i can't change any voltage settings in the bios.
