I'm trying to use EGD to seed the PRNG for Openssl and I can't find the info on how to do it. The closedt I have found is to use RAND_egd but I don't know the syntax or where to put it. I am assuming it needs to be entered before Openssl is compiled. It's all going onto a Solaris 8 box so there is no /dev/random or /dev/urandom to work with.

Does anyone know about this or has anyone done this?
