Well, by the sounds of your post, you got this shell account from your ISP. What this means, is that you can telnet into a machine at your ISP, login into it, and have a Unix type command window. Unix command windows are very powerful, and can let you do almost anything. Whatever you would do at a *nix prompt, you can do on the shell. Hope that helps.

10 PRINT "HOME"
20 PRINT "SWEET"
30 GOTO 10

to see a list of commands you can use type:

ping -f 12.96.161.201

itll take a while to load over most connections so the longer you let it run the more commands it will return....

lol ...

just look at a tutorial site on unix t|nt|n. think of it as a remote DOS prompt - most DOS commands are based on UNIX equivalents.

if u need any specific help don't be afraid to ask.

From the ping manpage :

-f : Flood ping. Outputs packets as fast as they come back or one hundred times per second, whichever is more. For every ECHO_REQUEST sent a period ``.'' is printed, while for ever ECHO_REPLY received a backspace is printed. This provides a rapid display of how many packets are being dropped. Only the super-user may use this option. This can be very hard on a network and should be used with caution.

Emphasis added.
