I'm trying to burn a CD with an autorun file

[autorun]
OPEN=Cat235.XLS
ICON=paper.ico

Is what I have so far (the file is on the root). Is it not working because i'm trying to open a excel spreadsheet or is it something else? syntax?

I think that autorun wants executables. So, you could do
OPEN=excel.exe Cat235.XLS
or
OPEN=start.exe Cat235.xls

you may need to do some sort of path thing to make that work too. I have no idea. That's my ass talking here.

Thanks, althought it is a little late. It was for a cd that I had to turn in today and I wated for the last minute. When I get home. If I just put

[autorun]
ICON=paper.ico

I get the icon to work and I get an explorer window popup.

Yeah my first thread... any way thanks
