I just need an .exe that will do the following.

Create an alert window on 95/98/nt/2000 and pull in and display a text file. The window must stay on top for a min of 5 seconds and then be closed with an "ok" button.

Anyone?

Send me the complete details, and I'll bust it out for you.

From what I'm gathering, you want a Pop Up message box to dynamically display the contents of a text file.

I'll need to know exactly how this will be used. i.e. A network message sent from the server to a client. A local file that will be triggered by a logon script. Path to the text file.

sorry its been a few days.

This will be used as a Popup warning to display a logon banner.

I know, I know, I could use a policy on NT but NO... the fucknuggets here can wrap their collective brain cell around that concept.

Could i just make the path an argument when i call the exe from a batch file?

ex:
\\server\share\banner.exe \\server\share\logonbanner.txt
