Just wondering if there's an easy way to shrink sizes of movies via cutting frames, reduced resolution, etc. Basically I have a 699M movie that I want to get to fit on a CD.

Any progies/methods? Yes, for win98.

Yes, i'm a moron. Is only 699M now. and about 23.7fps now, is .avi format.

what format is it in, and what framerate does it have?

If it's ~30fps, you could use VirtualDub to downconvert it to 23.97 fps, which should shrink it down to under 700MB.

I'm assuming it's DivX. If the credits have not been cut off, you could do that with VirtualDub or you could drop the bitrate on the audio a little.
