Well, since I need to increase my post count and this is an "easy" topic (I can't be wrong...it's just an opinion) here's my $.02
Chest hair is okay...but I personally prefer as little as possible. Most of that is due to the fact that I've mostly dated non-hairy guys..so I think being hairy anywhere (except on the head) looks weird. I'm also not a big fan of facial hair. I figure that's due to my being brought up around the military. I can't resist a clean cut guy in uniform!
On the other hand, I have friends who adore facial and/or chest hair. They think it makes the guys very "manly."

I am covered head to foot in hair, although my arms do not have to much which is odd considering.

Sorry, I'm taken. 
I am not female but what I have picked up from my wife and other life experiences is that it all depends on the person. My wife likes chest hair, not thick and forest like, but not thin and old man hair like. That's my wifes 2 cents.
