Yes, it's amazing how manipulative some ads can be, pressing people's buttons without telling the whole story :-)

I am by no way a gun nut but I think that commercial is 100\% correct. I have before the commercial and I think it's a great way to tell the message.

Kudos for the perfect manipualtion with ripping the flag

I'm a Canadian so I haven't been exposed to all of the issues surrounding the second amendment. I'm curious, why do you feel that the right to bear arms is so important?

We need them to defend ourselves against the completely psychotic presidents we elect.

LOL. Maybe Canada needs a second amendment. We've had some pretty crazy Prime Ministers... Nothing as scandalous as Clinton or Nixon, but we've had some doozies.

Ah well. I don't feel like disturbing a hornet's nest. I'm gonna leave this topic alone. Forget my question.

ARGH.

Clinton was nothing, dammit! Clinton was blown WAY out of proportion.

All the presidents have done something like that, in fact, most have done something worse.

A lot of conservatives bitch about how awful "that liberal leftist bastard" Clinton is, completely ignoring the horror of THE REAGAN ADMINISTRATION. Now THERE was a bad president. Most of the time, he didn't know what was going on, and when he did, he was even worse!
