ok seeing as this thread is a pile of bullshit i'll post a decent discussion...

if the theory of universal homgenisation (that if you look at the universe on a large enough scale you start to see "symetry" or an equal pattern) is true then isnt this proof that life other than our own exists if not identical to our own?

No because it's if you take it on a large enough scale. Sure somewhere else in the galaxy there may be 23743828 carbon atoms per 32432cubic metres of vaccuum but that doesnt necessarily mean theres life there.

The keyword here is "large enough scale".

well there is a limited amount of matter/energy in the universe. although space is sort-of infinite (hard to explain the way cosmological distances work), there is not an infinite number of stars/galaxies, etc. If there were infinite numbers of stars, then the sky would look pure white because at any miniscule RA/Dec, you would be pointing at a star at some distance.
