I'm about to spend a week (M-F) in San Diego. Does anybody from the area have any suggestions on what I can do for entertainment after 6PM there? I'm bringing my roller blades with me, if that helps.

Also, any really good resturaunts to eat at? I'm on the company card

The Gaslamp District.

Go watch some music (there's a ton of cool clubs), get drunk at Hooters, sleep in an alley.

Seriously though, go there. It's a really good time.

Goto Java Joe's on "Open Night Monday". It costs ū, and you can watch tons of unsigned bands from all genres! Some need to get a label... some need to go back to their garage and practice so more... or need to be in their garage when it burns down. But anyway, TONS of fun. The best ū you'll ever spend!

so how was your trip to SD, askheaves? Sorry about the weather, that was my fault. I washed my car..
I think you were here during the 1\% of the year where it rains.

dude, San Diego is, like, the coolest place to be. I was there all that week, and it rained sucky on a couple of days. However, the days that it didn't rain, it was soooo nice. It was nicer that Tucson because there was actually moisture in the air, and i could taste the salt when i breathed

While there, we went to Dave and Busters, because I saw it on the highway on the way to the hotel, and to eat at Casa de Pico in Oldtown. Also made it to Mission Beach twice, and I got to touch the ocean

That's definitely on my list of cities to move to. I think I'll be there in about 2 years, at least that's the plan. It's like, so much is just happening there. One big singles bar.

Anyways, thanks for asking, aventari. I had a wonderful time, despite being stuck in Windows CE class from 9-5 every day there.

ha!

Be careful about moving there!!! I used to live there. I've actually wanted to live there since I was a child!!

Once you actually live there and start going to places other than bars, like the grocery store, 7-11's, and other community type places you'll start to notice what a slum that place is!!

Go a little North to La Jolla, San Clemente, or actually I'd love to live slighty North of LA. I haven't been up there, but the areas in between LA and SD (other than previously mentioned) SUCK!!!

Well it sucks to live there. Partying there is cool as shit!!

No way. There's a lot of Orange County spots (in between LA and SD) that are far better than anything else in other Southern California crapholes.

I'd much rather live in Newport Beach/Balboa Island, Laguna Beach, Corona Del Mar, or even Huntington Beach than anywhere in SD or the Valley.

Anyhow, SD, when compared to OC/LA, blows.
