Today it was around 32 Celsius (it is 2 am I am way too tired to find out your Fahrenheit), and very humid. I had my windows open because the air in my room was so hot and sticky.

Soon, a large bug was creeping around on my computer table. By large bug I mean almost an inch long, brownish, terrible, flat, disgusting, 6- or 8-legged being with plans to invade my room and then do things I do not want to know in detail. Now I am usually a rather tolerant person with insects but this was too much. I killed him. Soon afterwards, two other bugs landed dangerously close to my naked feet. Brave fighter I am, I killed them too. Then I had enough and closed the window...

If the bugs' intention was to kill me, they are pretty close to reaching their aim. Before long, I will be cooked, or rather, simmered, because of the closed windows in this heat. Does anybody know a way how to get fresh but bugless air?

shit... speaking of bugs, there are 2 crickets hiding somewhere in my basement. they chirp constantly, 24/7. It's driving me crazy. When i try to go find them they hear me and stop chirping and then i can't find the damn things. And you know, crickets are really disgusting, they're big, ugly, and dark and carry parasites and look really gross. So if you wanna come down here and help me get rid of them, O slayer of insects, I would be forever in your debt.

Won't that leave a nice bunch of bug goo inside your case? Or is that a little known overclocking trick?

You performed admirably under pressure.

My hot button is centipedes. Whenever I find one, all else goes on hold whilst I kill it.

Past methods of execution employed:

- Pellet gun (sorry, no real guns at my house)
- Lighter fluid (ignited)
- Oven cleaner (ignited) (we were out of lighter fluid)
- Bug spray (ignited) (we were out of lighter fluid)
- Sledgehammer
- Big fucking rock
- Cinderblock
- Sparklers
- Butane torch (fuck the lighter fluid)

Usually, however, it's some combination of the above.

I hate secada's or whatever they are called. They're big, ugly, stupid and fucking loud. What do they do? What is their purpose? I DONT CARE. Kill them all. I like those giant-bee like bugs, which are known as secada killers. They are cool. They eat their brains and stuff. I don't bother to kill the secada, cause they are too fuckin big and they cruch.

Another bug... Earwigs. Those motherfuckers snap it you when you try to crunch them. Makes me nearly vomit. I stick with the bug spray.

Heh. Anything that bites or stings, I'm probably allergic to. So if I hear something buzzing nearby, it's pretty much a given that it's going to be pulp in the next couple of seconds. However, there's one exception I made:

About a year ago, my family decided to buy a tent trailer. It was a great bargain - it even included an active beehive. The things were living in the metal framework of the "trailer" part. The fucking bastards came and went almost constantly all day.

One morning I decided I had enough. I went out nice & early with my trusty Zippo and a can of hairspray, and emptied a half-can of the shit inside the spot where they came & went. Then I cooked the half-dozen or so that managed to get out.

Man, did it stink around there though. Burned bee reeks, take my work for it.
