Oregon sucks. Nothing up there but a bunch of rednecks and hippies... and yes, y'all DO hate Californians. I spent a week in Portland last year and I got SOOOO much shit for being Californian... everybody thought I was shallow and stupid!
Funny thing was, I thought the exact same thing about them. The Portland scene featured a bunch of second rate intellectuals who had absolutely no sense of humor... the SF intellectual scene is wild and playful and raucous and irreverant; a quick wit is considered a necessary trait, laughter is rampant, and people actually wear colors instead of all black. 
Don't worry Demonk, I still like you even if you ARE jealous of us

In Indiana we'd give you shit for being from California as well, but you'd probably ignore us. And rightfully so.

Hehe, I'm honored to have a thread started just to start a flame war with me.
Oregon is the better state (between OR and CA). I'll try to list a few reasons why (the real list is being compiled by a monastary of monks, and once complete, CA will sink into the ocean  ):
- You can actually take a deep breath safly in OR
- We have over 60% of Intel here, as well as a lot of other high tech companies
- We have the countries largest in-city park (Washington Park)
- We also have the smallest
- We have the second most skiied mountain in the world (Mt. Hood)
- We are the beaver state 
- We have the lesbian capital of the country (Portland)
- We have the highest ratio of porn stores/capita in the country
- NO ENRON!
etc.
I'd list more, but I'm getting tired. So, have at it!
