I just got back from a four day trip to Connecticut as a result of my uncle passing away :(
He was a great, outspoken man who never ever gave up his oppinions.
I realized durring my trip that Connecticut sucks ass.  I was born there (at Yale) and I go back a few times a year to see family, but I really wish they would kick the state in ass and bring it into the 21st century.  It's like going back in time to 1950, and looking for a really boring place to hang out.  I spent most of the time in Madison  ...as in the place with the bridges where Dirty Harry gets his groove on with middle age women.  Everybody knows everybody and everything closes at 5 pm.  God it's good to be back in LA.

My condolences on the death of your uncle.

Some of Connecticut sucks, but I did always like the beach towns like Misquamicut and Watch Hill.

Foxwoods casino/resort also kicks much ass.

the four seasons is much better.

i just love the road signs in CT.  they take you about half way there and leave you stranded.

...but I wouldn't want to live there. Oh, wait, I do.  hehe.gif

Actually, after spending last weekend in Boston, I'm damn glad that I'm not within 200 miles of anything resembling a "real" city. Here in Maine we just have really big towns.

born in Fall River, MA, and I gotta say I love it up there.  CT's stuck in the 50's, Fall River's stuck in the 80's, and Maine's just...  stuck.
