For the most part I like figure skating, but I didn't watch last night I saw the proformance after the canadians and that was it... I also so the crash in warm-ups. From what I am hearing the Eastern European judges were voting for the home team.

I saw the Canadians some time ago and they're the greatest figure skating couple I've ever seen. There's this harmony and trust between them... they're one, totally relying on each other. Amazing.

yeah well, the Russians had more diamonds to give the judges.. whats your point?
Of course its a load of crap, it was a judged competition. Most of them have some politics or bribes, I don't see why everyone is so shocked.

Umm, yeah. I enjoy watching ice skating but don't care enough about it to get into a debate over who won. I've got enough important shit to worry about without something as unnecessary as some ice skating drama tying up my time. </rant>Bad day. don't mind me

I'm scared. I've been working at home some of this week, and I keep watching the Olympics. I've fallen deeply for the biathelon, Women's Hockey, and especially curling! It's actually somewhat exciting! However, I still can't deal with figure skating no matter how much they show it.

Curling is just too damn Canadian.
I quite like hockey, actually, but I haven't been able to mount any interest in any olympic events for the past few years. I get much more excited over the actual medal count (triple stars 'n stripes for snowboarding/half pipe, woot)
