frame after slow frame
the video took me 10.33 minutes to download on dsl, 550kbps
and it's on the harddrive anyway

One suggestion - with the parodies, instead of making a .htm page for every single page of every single parody, why not make a simple PHP script. Since you seem to be correctly storing the images, you could do, for example with the Hackers parody:

Where x = the page you want. This is how the original bastardizations were setup on detonate, and it makes perfect sense to me.

Well Kbreak, here is you chance to wow us. I say the first news post you make on the new site is a State of the Union of sorts. Explain to us who you are and why you bought the site (and I will kill you if the word n00b is used!). Let us know what you are planning, your thoughts, ideas, ..etc ..etc. I mean, there is a reason that you bought the domain right? You obviously have shit to say, so clue us in. Please do not let this become the Kbreak "How does a n00b like me do HTML" Site.
Just post what you got to say, I'm sure the formatting will be cleaned up as time goes on. Everything dosen't have to kick ass the opening day.

Ok detvets;
Here's current news and sort of a STATE OF THE UNION address to you all.
News;
I'm in sort of a bind with the homepages; Richard T says his new site will deliver everything but the morning paper, and may even have an engine to cope with reader submissions. The other designer had a page ready to go but he didn't want to post without more content. I let this day slide to take care of my day job. I'm here now, though.
The plan of the moment is to use what's available to me, now, and use Syfon's Super Site when and if it is Super. So whoever does a page now, it may be replaced if Syfon's is as advertised. That's how I lost the other homepage!!!!
I told the other designer honestly I can't promise his page would be up 90 days from now, and he elected to split. *bummer* he's a friend of mine and I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings!
I heard that directhex spent 6 hours working on their page, listed under topic "detnet V2.0" After I got off the phone with the other designer, I went back to DH's page and *OOPS* the tabs all work! Now I know why it took so long! I'll check back in the am Pacific time and see what you all say, otherwise I want to post DH's page and work on content.
Now that's *news*!!
More News; I've been here, what, a week? It's already apparent to me that zember311 is an alias!! I don't know who it is, but I have noticed that one word maybe intentionally mis-spelled. If that's true, I know who it is. I may never know for sure. You detvets, what do you know about zember311? Have there been other instances of aliases?
News tidbits; The Matrix Wazzup is up, thankyou webhost, and it appears the site speed is up a little. If the military gets wind of "nochance", they may crash the server and nochance may be pulled. It's a little jingoistic for my tastes, but I love the airplanes and the editing to the music is super!
Next Post; Who is kbreak? Why did I buy detonate.net? What do I want to do with it?
Porn_dealer, I hear it's a good thing you're back, and the next post is specifically responding to Wiley! And the rest of youse guys!

BTW, Whiskey, I don't think we're "doomed" about the PHP stuff.
That guy did what you're looking at on detonate, so I'd like to give credit where it's due.
If you'd like to reformat the parodies to your taste,let me know.
I kinda like that the original Matrix is single frame for those poor souls on dial-up. Otherwise, I'd go with the 6 pix setup! It is easier to read.
