in my opinion, yeah, cause IMHO, thats like saying "well, i only want half the cheeseburger", so you jump the counter at McDonalds, take 2 bites and leave, its not about whether you want the whole thing, its the fact that if you want any of it, youre supposed to pay for all of it.

well thats the thing, a lot of people do buy the cd, but theres no system to be able to tell whether they do or not. i think if there was some way to prove that the download of mp3s lead to more sales, like hard evidence of the percentage of people who d/l and then buy the cd or delete it, then i dont think many people would be against it. but there are far too many people who do download it, and dont buy the cd. almost everyone i know is that way. my dad is too lazy to do that even, he just borrows cds from the library and copies them. hes like "its legal, so why not?" and then he also bitches at my sister for downloading mp3s. even more than dumb people, i hate hypocrits(sp?). double standards are just wrong.

yeah, i know i try to hold myself to the same standards as i hold others. i.e. if your gonna do somethin, do it right, unless theres not enough time.
