Does anyone know of a program that lets you run a movie file during startup.. eg like in Hackers, Dreamcast - in fact most consoles.

I know that you need to initialise the video card but is it possible?

I would assume that it would be possible to have a short video play upon power-on (I assume this is what you mean) but it would mean extensive hacking of your bios. In other words, if you have to ask, it's beyond your doing.

You might be able to write your own boot partition code or something, after the POST, that's all I can think of..but then you have to do all disk access yourself, directly or through BIOS (INT) calls. So you'd have to write your own movie player too. Sounds like a pain in the ass, but it's be cool.
