Don't even go there man! I could argue either side with much, MUCH vigilance if I wanted! All I'm gonna say is that they're both good for certain things.

There are many reasons to like the Mac hardware. It is fast, and they are actually willing to change up their central processor design every 20 years or so. I'm just not a fan of the operating system (MacOS < X). It's crudely constructed underneigth, it's a cooperative multitasking system (last I heard), and you'll have a harder time finding apps.I'd love to see MacOS X. It might have some potential to open up the market a bit. Bottom Line, I'm a Microsoft fan regardless. It's not popular, but I program, and it's the path of least resistance. I can see where Mac has potential take over, but it's not likely because they make a lot of dumb mistakes in management. They have the prettiest cases and peripherals, they're innovating faster than the PC, they have special niche markets (which are growing), but they just can't pull it together for some reason.

personally, i prefer the pc because its more intuitive for me. i guess the real reason i hate macs is because to get anything done on one i need the hand holding. but i will admit that they are superior for somethings, but i will take a PC almost any day of the year over a mac.
